Right now we are looking for detailers in Metro Vancouver
We are opening city by city and are being straight about where we are: Metro Vancouver is where the work is today. If you are elsewhere in Canada, apply anyway — we will keep your details and come back to you when there is real volume in your area rather than pretending there is some now.
How it works
- You are an independent subcontractor, not an employee. You run your own business; we bring you work.
- Jobs are offered to you with the location, the vehicle, the package and the pay. You accept or decline. Declining costs you nothing.
- You are paid per completed job, not per hour and not on a shift.
- You set your own availability and change it when you like.
- You carry your own liability insurance and WorkSafeBC clearance, and you keep your own tools.
What we expect
- You turn up inside the arrival window, or you tell us early enough that we can tell the customer.
- The work is finished properly and the walk-around is done with the customer.
- Wash water is reclaimed and disposed to sanitary sewer — never to a storm drain. This is not negotiable, and it is the law in most of the places we work.
- You are civil to people at their homes and workplaces. Most of our customers are watching from a window.
What we are not going to pretend
This is a young business. There is no guaranteed volume, no salary and no benefits, and in a new city there may be very little work at first. If you already run a detailing business and want additional jobs that arrive pre-booked and pre-paid, that is exactly what this is. If you are looking for a steady job with a fixed wage, this is honestly not it.
How to apply

- Which cities and areas you can actually cover — postcodes or neighbourhoods are more useful than "the Lower Mainland".
- What you charge, and how you charge it — per job, per hour, or per package.
- What you run — your own van or vehicle, water and power setup, and whether you can work at a customer's home or workplace without their tap and outlet.
- Insurance and WorkSafeBC — current, expired, or not yet arranged. An honest "not yet" is fine and we will tell you what is needed.
- Experience, briefly, and photographs of your work if you have them.
We read every one and reply either way. If we are not in your area yet we will say so rather than leave you waiting.
A note on who we are
Done Detail Inc. is a Canadian mobile detailing company. Customers book online, a self-contained van comes to them, and the card is charged when the job is finished. There is no phone queue and no quote haggling — the price is on the website and it is the price.
